Racquetball’s Yadda Yadda and Blah Blah’s

Most racquetball players have a fairly big ego or they would not be able to survive the wars within the little boxes of 40x20x20. Those egos lead to many errors in judgement. Here are a few that come to mind.
1. Believing you do not need coaching. This is the case of many good players but each player could be better, a lot better. They also do not have to be in so much pain. A great athlete might be able to perform at the highest levels but eventually poor mechanics will get them.
2. Whining about the match you just lost. Your opponent cheated you at match point, the ref blew a call at match point, yada yada blah blah.. Nobody cares and how did the match get to that point? Maybe your opponent beat you?
3. I know I can beat player XYZ. Really? Then do it and stop saying it.
4. They are all in it just for the money. Okay, what do you do for a living? Do it for free? No? Maybe you too are just in it for the money!
5. This tournament is just a money grab. See above.
6. Coaching experts. Everyone who ever played and most who do not play but stand outside and watch are experts. I am looking at all these cameras going in the back of the court and the player’s footwork and mechanics are horrible. Next tournament, the same thing! The “experts” must be missing something so see #1.
