Lower your center of gravity for better racquetball. I read an interesting article about a football coach who brought in video of two rams fighting on some mountain. The two beasts slammed into each other but the lower ram won every time.

Now we do not run into each other (on purpose) but the player with the lower hip level has an advantage!

If I draw a line at the waist of two players, the one with the lower hip level will win almost every time. How can you get your hip level lower? Strength and flexibility training is the key. While squat work will help, hip flexibility is a must. A good personal trainer will know how to accomplish this . This is why I use personal trainers to help my athletes get a leg up on the competition or in this case a leg down (lower)!
