How do you pull off the upset?
You are playing the league champ. The league champ thinks they are all that and a bag of fritos. Somehow you have to break through that facade and get to the champ. They have won 8 leagues in a row and now you are playing them. Here are five tips to beat the favored player.
1. Play par racquetball. Do not try to hit aces and do not try to hit perfect shots. Play par.
2. You are not playing great and you are not playing bad. Remember you are just playing!
3. In 100 matches you will play out of your mind in five of those and like stinky-do five matchs. The rest you will play up and down. Remember that and just play.
4. Do not break out of the box too fast. Pace yourself. (by that I mean control your emotions)
5. Laugh and have fun. Serious opponents hate that! hahaha
The best upsets happen when the challenger plays steady, not streaky. Like all streaks, they come to an end, so steady is the name of the game! Now go get’em champ!
