5 tips for mixed doubles.
Disclaimer: These are general rules and of course do not apply to everyone and like all generalizations there are exceptions. I only speak from my own experiences.
1. Never choose your mixed doubles partner for friendship or love. Choose your partner to win. If you are lucky to have a partner that fulfills both of those qualities you are in rare air my friend!
2. If you violate #1, prepare yourself to lose graciously.
3. Never encroach on your partner’s territory unless it is an emergency; like they broke their leg type of emergency.
4. Like all good teams there is a captain. Elect one!
5. Make sure you have fun. This is a game, not war!
