Top 10 Annoying Behaviors in Racquetball

10 Annoying behaviors on the racquetball court in club play.
These challenge court behaviors or club behaviors take the fun out of racquetball. No way I can cover all of them. Let me just throw a few out there! Feel free to add more below.
1. 14-14 forever–The mantra of these players is “Just one more point and we will be done, promise!” They then proceed to drag out one point for 15 minutes while you wait and burn your court hour time.
2. Challenge court bullies–this is the best player who loves to come in, play the challenge court and not get off the court. Since nobody can beat them, they get to control the court forever.
3. Screen serve Sarah or Sammy–any ace is an automatic screen or short. Not one call will go the other way.
4. Second serve sneaky snake-this player quick serves or raises their racquet to get a side out in practice play.
5. Gunfighter–you get a call to play. You go play and then realize that this is the “superbowl” for the challenger. They want to beat you to brag about it. This is not a practice match in the gunfighter’s mind.
6. Rope-a-Doper–this player will never play hard in practice against anyone they might meet in a tournament. The walk around and lose every game in practice while taking mental notes of their opponent’s strengths and weaknesses.
7. Double bounce Donnie or Debbie-This player seems to play by multi-bounce rules!
8. Hindering Helga or Hank–always in the way-they serve to the left and move to the left. Then they are indignant when you hit them or hold up. Their game depends on you hitting the ball to them.
9. Practice pro-this player never loses in practice and look downright unbeatable. For whatever reason the rare times they enter a tournament they crash and burn under tournament pressure.
10. Jekyll-Hyde–Nicest person in the world until they step on the court. Mean, nasty, anti-social, condescending, are just some of the adjectives that come to mind.
